How long do board members serve?
Board members are elected every other year in January and serve for 2 years.

What are the roles/duties of officers on the HOA board?
Officers on the HOA board have a variety of roles and duties depending on the needs of the HOA. The HOA bylaws outlines roles for President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary which are summarized below.​
President

Acts as the primary point of contact on behalf of the HOA

Schedules and facilitates annual meetings

Plans and coordinates neighborhood maintenance and upkeep

Works with and manages contractors and vendors

Works with the Treasurer and other board members to plan HOA activities, prioritize improvements and capital projects

Vice President

Act in the place of the president in the event of their absence, inability or refusal to act

Exercise and discharge such other duties as may be determined by the Association
Treasurer

Gets mail - pays bills & deposits dues

Maintains balance of checking account & current contract negotiations

Sets up calendar year budget

Reports on finances at each meeting

Contact for title agencies on new homeowners

Communicates new homeowner information to secretary & welcome committee
